An Open Letter To Katie, Whoever You Are.

 (cheer uniform: vintage. Like, 1973.)

 Dear Katie,

I have no idea who you are. I have no idea where you're from. I don't even know how tall you were. But I do know that your name is Katie, so that counts for something, right? Handy, having your name printed on the tags like that. Anyway, thanks for giving up your uniforms to the charity shop so that I could buy them.
They are really the coolest.

And so are you.

That is all.

xx,
Justina

  1. Okay two things- one, that's a pretty fantastic 70s cheerleading uniform. And two, your little description under "post a comment" has me cracking up right now! Toooo good.

  2. I bought a prom dress once from a Salvation Army... It really is the most beautiful thing. I just walk around sometimes and wear it just because its so pretty

  3. I need this in my life... but then again I might get a few stares when I walk down the street as I don't live in the US...

  4. cool!
every time I buy something used or vintage I spend literally hours wondering about the previous owner and making up stories about him or her... I wonder if katie was a blonde, I think she was a blonde and wore ponytails all the time, and she was kind of shy and now she's a kinder garden teacher or something like that ha.. thanks for stopping by my blog btw

Tell me what I want to hear. Or what you want to say.

Just remember:

If you're mean, I'll track you down and replace all your shoes with those hideous white tennis things that are so popular among the very sad.
