(Dolce & Gabbana, FW13 Womenswear, feat. Bianca Balti, Monica Bellucci, and Bianca Brandolini )
Ok, I don't do this often because I am not the biggest fan of putting what are basically really pretty ads on my blog, but I saw these and had to say something.
These ads make me want to be Italian (Like we all didn't ALREADY want to be Italian) Dolce & Gabbana did an amazing job with this campaign. I love how there is more to look at then just the clothes, or the models. You feel like you're watching an actual family, who just happen to be waaaaaay better dressed than your own. And prettier. But, you know, they're Italian. :D
How do you feel about this campaign? Too forced, or natural to perfection? Or do you think they look like Russians? (This is what my Oma said when I showed it to her.)
xx,
J
ps. Said it before, I'll say it again: At 200 followers via GFC, there will be a giveaway (that you're gonna love.) and HUGE news (That you're gonna love.)
I love this campaign!

they don't look russian to me more like gypsies :) but I must say the first thing that I thought about this ad (saw if before with Madonna in Vogue) was that it actually looks very cosy, like family, or at least like amazing friends

The photos look a little bit like my family... Okay, maybe a lot like my family (especially in the top one with all the people in it talking and laughing and one very prim woman yelling to someone in the photo who was either a sibling, cousin, nephew/niece, or child). The back ground of the photos definitely had a Medditeranean* feel to them (*Sorry if I spelled the word wrong). The photos definitely have a natural feeling to them, for it did not look as forced as other ads with models who don't work together do. The models in it look to be a little Spanish or maybe even French, and I can see where your mom is coming from on the Russian thing.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, Dolce and Gabbana can make everything look cool :D
ReplyDeleteThey look Like models dressing up like Russians. Russians would never style themselves this nicely.
