Dr.'s Marten & Suess

Oh goodness, this skirt is so perfect. My mum actually made this for me about four years ago for a play in which I was to play cheerleader #3. True story. Anyway, the play failed (I mean, obviously the directer wasn't too brilliant if she cast me as a cheerleader..) and I promptly took this skirt and stuffed it in a drawer and forgot about it. Then today, my closet spat it up, and I ran with it. Dragged out my old Dr. Marten mary-janes, and the bag, and VOILA, we had an outfit. The funny part is, I only put the sunglasses on because it was so ludicrously sunny outside, but now looking at the pictures, it's actually a nice finishing touch.

    I love that skirt, it's gorgeous! Such a pretty floaty style and the colour is so perfect for spring :)
    I have clear outs in my wardrobe every month or so as it's so small, so I'm always throwing things out :(
